The Liteblade® MONOLITH is a must have. Its shape produces highly dimensional patterns with lots of depth. It’s designed for abstracts, graffiti, light painting katas and backgrounds. It's the purest tool from the LITEBLADE series. It's made for medium to fast movements. Combined with the Klarus light, you get a professional power tool to create some amazing light paintings.
The round bottom allows you to tild the blades right or left on the KYO base for different creative light effects.
*The Kyo attachement is sold seperatly: http://liteblades.com/kyo/1m
**Light is sold separately. Compatible with Klarus XT11, XT11GT, XT11S, XT12, XT12S and RS11: http://liteblades.com/liteblade-torches/
***The colours are created with filters on the lightened or on the Liteblade. Filters sold separately here: http://liteblades.com/colour-pack/
****Dust and scratches are not included but encouraged! The Liteblades keep getting better with wear and tear. Feel free to modify at will. See how to do the milky effect here: http://liteblades.com/blog/learn-milky-effect/
In my opinion, this is the foundation blade for doing any light painting and light-blading work. In keeping with Liteblade's standards, it is incredibly secure to the flashlight, allowing the painter to be wildly creative without the risk of losing the blade in the process (short of it flying out of the user's hand). This is worth a great deal to me. You can explore katas as well as orbs and beyond without worry. Maybe get two because you will surely like to be able to have a modified one as well as a clear one for variety!
